Tim Duffy was appointed Director of Operations of PT Agincourt Resources on 8 June 2009 and subsequently appointed as Executive General Manager on 1 January 2013. From 26 June 2015, he was appointed President Director and Managing Director of PT Agincourt Resources.
Tim is a Certified Practicing Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. He has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry and has operational experience in gold, silver, nickel, copper, uranium, coal and open cut and underground mining operations. He has been engaged in finance, commercial and operations roles in mining projects and has strategic capability across the full suite of mining activities in an Asian environment. Tim was the General Manager Finance – Asia of OZ Minerals Limited, mainly responsible for providing commercial guidance and strategic direction for Asian operations and business. He is a member of the AusIMM and CPA Australia.
Deputy President Director
Linda Siahaan has been the Deputy President Director of PT Agincourt Resources since May 2015 and served as Director of Government Relations for PT Agincourt Resources since 31 March 2011.
Linda is also responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with all relevant stakeholders. She has worked for PT Agincourt Resources since July 2007. Her responsibilities include maintaining harmonious relationships with the government of the Republic of Indonesia to ensure that PT Agincourt Resources complies with Indonesian laws and regulations. Linda began her career with Mobil Oil Indonesia. From 1997 to 2007, she worked in the External Relations department of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara, one of the largest copper and gold mining companies in the world. She has accounting qualifications from the University of North Sumatra, as well as a diploma in communications from the Ketchum Institute of Public Relations in Fairfax, USA.
Navin Sonthalia joined PT Agincourt Resources as Director & Chief Financial Officer in 2016. Previously, he worked as Head of Strategic Finance and FP&A in Axiata Group Berhad, Malaysia. He served as BOD and Audit Committee member of several of the Group’s investments in South East Asia. Prior to Axiata, Navin worked for Rajawali Group in Indonesia for more than 10 years across several of their investments in various roles. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from ST. Xavier’s College, India. He is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA, UK) and a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA, UK). Navin also holds an Honors Diploma in Systems Management from NIIT, India.
General Manager Operations
Ed Cooney was appointed Deputy General Manager Operations of PT Agincourt Resources on 14 January 2013 and subsequently appointed General Manager Operations on 1 July 2015. Ed holds a Bachelor of Engineering/Mining from the University of NSW and dual MBAs from the University of California Los Angeles and National University of Singapore. He is a member of the AUSIMM and has over 17 years mining industry experience including operational and technical roles in both underground and open pit operations, with commodity exposure in copper, silver, lead, zinc, coal and gold. Ed has previously worked for companies including MIM Holdings, Barrick Gold, Xstrata Zinc and prior to joining PT Agincourt Resources was Mining Manager at BHP Billiton’s Cannington underground silver, lead and zinc operation in QLD, Australia.
Washington Tambunan has been Director of PT Agincourt Resources since 2012. He has several years of experience as the Head of Mines and Energy Office of North Sumatra Province, North Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi Province, and Maluku Province from 1990 to 2009. On February 2005-June 2006, he acted as Temporary Replacement of Sub District Head of Central Tapanuli District, North Sumatra. He also became the recipient of Satya Lencana Kesetiaan Awards (an award for the public servants’ loyalty) from the President of the Republic of Indonesia for his 10th, 20th, and 30th years of service.
Peter Chambers was appointed as an advisor to Farallon Capital in 2014 and advises on a number of Farallon Indonesian investments. He has been Director of PT Agincourt Resources since 2016. Peter was previously a Board Member and Managing Director of Strategy and Governance for Rajawali Corporation, an Indonesian conglomerate. At Rajawali he was responsibility for the development and execution of the strategic plan as well as overseeing the governance framework. Prior to Rajawali he held important positions in several international companies such as Coopers and Lybrand and PT Excelcomindo. Today Peter also serves as an Independent Commissioner of Excelcomindo (IDX listed) and Chairman of Indomines (ASX listed). He obtained a Bachelor of Business degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.
